The Masorti Movement offers a variety of programs aimed at enriching our values and providing diverse learning opportunities for everyone to enjoy.

Discover more about the various programs and learning opportunities we offer below.

Masorti’s National Women’s Study Days

Several times a year, 300-400 women unite for a day of study, prayer and social interaction and education programs. A joint project of the Masorti Movement, the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism, and the Schechter Institute for Jewish Studies, rabbis and lay educators volunteer their time to provide engaging learning opportunities for all who wish to increase their understanding of Jewish history, thought, tradition and observance. The education programs enhance and enrich understanding of Jewish history, values and traditions.

Revuta

The Revuta program, tailored for kehillah rabbis, recognizes their vital role in introducing Masorti Judaism to Israelis. Ravuta supports Rabbis in cultivating their kehillot, aiming to inspire Israelis to embrace their Judaism and explore modern traditions. Through professional development, Jewish studies, and targeted programming, Revuta continues to empower Masorti Rabbis in Israel. Each year the program focuses on enhancing skills and impact with specific study topics and tools. By nurturing creativity and proactivity, Ravuta equips Rabbis to lead our kehillot in offering programs that resonate with the Israeli public.

Prayer Circle in Hostage Square

Every day the Masorti Movement meets at Hostage Square in Tel Aviv at 17:00 - We will not stop until all the hostages are returned home!

Since the war in Gaza, the Masorti Movement has made sure to show its presence every day at Hostage Square in Tel Aviv. In collaboration with other Jewish pluralistic organizations, we have organized a daily prayer circle where we continue to pray together for the welfare of the hostages and missing, and the wellbeing of their families. Our prayer circles at Hostage square have become a way for us to spiritually hold the grieving families and assure them that they are not alone. Our movement promotes halakhic-egalitarian Judaism and religious pluralism. Since the day that the families of the hostages set up camp here in Tel Aviv, we identified the need to hold a prayer and song circle, inclusive of everyone, without exception.

This square is a space which draws people of all ilks, each bringing different strengths. Together we are able to create light and shared hope. Every day, people from the right and left of the political map, from the north and south of Israel, all meet here. The partnership created in Hostage Square generates hope and strength. It stands in contradiction to the divisions that we all experienced just moments before the 7th of October. Every day, from this square we channel the pain and frustration into partnership. This square forces us to look each other in the eye, notice our brothers and sisters, and acknowledge that until our hostages return home, we are all with them.

We encourage and invite you to come join us in song and prayer! Feel free to just show up or if you would like, please fill out the form below to let us know whether you'll be coming with an organized group.
