Biblical Strat Up- Nation

Israel is often known as a Start-Up Nation, both due its high number of successful technology firms that were born in Israel as well as the very fact that in only 70 years, the State of Israel is a high-functioning, modern (if far from perfect) society. This study session will look at the stories behind two types of initiative found in this week’s Torah portion, Beshalach. Can we see in the behaviors of Nahshon and Miriam the seeds of Jewish initiative? How do the stories that we tell affect the way in which we view taking leadership and taking initiative?

Masorti engages tens of thousands of Israelis each year, young and old, native born as well as olim from around the globe.
