a meaningful volunteer Tzedakah activity while in Israel
As part of our award-winning Bar/Bat Mitzvah program for Children with Disabilities, a tallit is presented to each child on the day of his or her ceremony. You will have the honor of learning the art of tying the tzizit that is needed to complete the tallit
Participants will
Learn about the experience of families of children with disabilities
Acquire the skill and perform the mitzvah of tying tzizit
Experience the inclusive approach of Masorti Judaism towards people with disabilities
Perfect for Bar/Bat Mitzvah tours, Families, Synagogue groups, Missions & Youth trips
Duration: 60-90 minutes
Location: Anywhere
Cost: Families up to 15 members: $250 (complementary Tallit for the Bar/Bat Mitzvah boy or girl)
Groups/missions : 760 NIS (up to 20 participants, 36 NIS for each additional person)
